Monsieur Baleine is a young & dapper gentleman-artiste whale, living in the beautiful & romantic city of Paris, France.

He is currently looking for a new home as his studio apartment which he was renting in Montmartre, is to be sold! Mon Dieu!

He has a love for travel, seeing interesting places, & meeting like-minded individuals for friendship (and perhaps love should that be his destiny) :)

He was created by me with love, using recycled denim from a local Salvation Army Charity shop (more often than not, I manage to buy brand new pairs of jeans, but whether they're new or not I will always wash them before use).

He has a wonderful black felt mustache, which is hand sewn as well as a beautiful red wool felt beret (he likes to wear it at a jaunty angle) which is also hand sewn onto his head (ouch!). The little stem on his hat is machine sewn inside to prevent it being pulled out. 

He is filled with fiberfill and has two safety eyes.  I believe this whale would make a great toy as I've reinforced the seams but as with all toys & small children, please use your discretion and supervise play if you feel it needs to be done.

As I have more than one of these whales for sale, each one is an original and won't look exactly the same as another - this is because I like to use all the fabric when using denim jeans & skirts so one whale might have a gorgeous seam running down his side & another whale might have one running across his head or tail or fin.

One thing is for sure, you will always get a very handsome, French guy all for yourself!

His dimensions are approximately 35cm long (13.8") by 13cm high (5.11") by 10cm (3.9") wide.
