Lotus Baby Quilt

Cot, Lap or Tummy Time!

My Lotus Baby Quilt is an original design, one-off quilt (never to be repeated!) - as are all my quilts. The quilt top is constructed from high-quality 100% designer cotton and features prints from Amy Butler's Lotus collection. The colours include green, pink, chocolate brown and yellow bordered with cream.

The backing fabric is cream coloured high quality 100% cotton fabric. I have bound the quilt (double fold binding for extra durability) with one of the fabrics in the quilt top so it coordinates beautifully. The binding is machine stitched at the front and hand stitched at the back.

The batting is 100% organic bamboo. Bamboo is ideal for babies and children as it breathes wonderfully, has natural anti-bacterial properties and is super soft and warm. It is 100% sustainable and ecofriendly as it grows and re-grows without the need for supplemental irrigation or the use of pesticides.

This quilt measures 102cm x 150cm (40" x 59"), so its big enough for an over-sized cot quilt, or to lay over a single bed for an older child. It would also be perfect as a tummy-time playmat, or a lap quilt for an older child.
