Central Park Quilt

Perfect Baby, Lap or Cot Size Quilt

If summer had a colour palette this would be it! Blues, greens, purples, oranges and pinks combined in a gorgeous colourful quilt to brighten any little person's day. I have made the quilt top using 100% cotton fabric. The printed fabrics are from the Central Park range designed by Kate Spain for Moda. I have combined these with solid white which really makes the colours and designs 'pop'. 

The binding and backing fabrics are also 100% cotton - the back is white, and the binding is one of the orange/green prints from the quilt top. The batting I used is 100% organic bamboo batting (perfect for babies and children as it has natural antibacterial properties, and is 100% sustainable and grown without the use of pesticides or supplemental irrigation). I have quilted it using white cotton thread, with a double row of stitching along each of the white borders.

This quilt measures 102cm x 120cm (40" x 47"). It is fully machine washable on a cool gentle cycle and is best dried on the line.

All my quilts come wrapped, with a care instructions postcard for future reference. I ship all my quilts be registered post.
