Meet Aynashi! She is a hand-made, one-of-a-kind polymer clay art doll by artist Vanessa Witschi, and is available for adoption.

Aynashi started part of her life in a mold. Her arms, hands, ears and tail were individually sculpted and her head and torso were created using a mould. She was then was shaped and her features individualised before she was painted. Her tail was created, and her hair put on before she was decorated. Aynashi took 6 hours to make!

Aynashi is 16cms long herself, and the entire sculpture including the shell is 19cm long (the shell by itself is 15cm long). She is an art doll - she is delicate and would not withstand being played with by children, but would make a beautiful room decoration for a little girl - or a big girl!

Aynashi comes with her Certificate of Authenticity and her own unique Mermaid ID Number! She will be beautifully presented in a black matte gift box (new) using shredded cellophane, material and bubblewrap (recycled where possible) and then into a postage box (new to maximise strength) to ensure safe posting. Unfortunately due to the new security surcharge introduced by America, if the package exceeds 16oz in weight, packages to the US will attract an additional $9 postage charge, on top of the International postage rate. As a guide, most single mermaids with a shell, in their gift box and packaging don't exceed this limit. Aynashi won't either.
