Recycled Wool Midriff Warmer Haramaki Black- SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE
Quantity: 0

This black 4 panel, contoured, midriff or kidney warmer is cut from recycled, boiled, 100% wool jumpers. Two of the panels are cut with the finished edge of the jumper at the top for a firmer fit.

I have three warmers available in this combination-1 Small, 1 Medium and 1 Large. If you're in doubt about which size to buy go for the firmer fit. PLEASE SPECIFY THE SIZE YOU REQUIRE WHEN YOU ORDER THIS ITEM.

I cut the midriff warmers from sweaters with plenty of elasticity so they will fit snugly at first, will stretch with wear to your size, and will return to their original size when washed.

Measurements when laid flat (double these for full circumference)

SMALL

Width across top: 28 cm (11 inches)
Width across bottom: 40.5 cm (16 inches)

MEDIUM
Width across top: 30 cm (11 1/2 inches)
Width across bottom: 43 cm (17 inches)

LARGE
Width across top: 32 cm (13 inches)
Width across bottom: 46.5 cm (18 3/8 inches)

Length (all sizes): 22 cm (8 1/2 inches)

The benefits of keeping your mid-section warm have been long known in Japan where the haramaki (belly warmer) is a common item of clothing. Keeping your kidneys and other vital organs improves blood circulation to the whole body. The warmth it generates also eases menstrual and digestive discomfort.

While haramaki are traditionally worn next to the skin as an under layer ours is designed to be worn as part of a layered look, peeping out from under your sweater or shirt.
