What we do….
Old School Industries is a small boutique joinery, located on a farm in the NSW Southern Tablelands….
After nearly a decade of hand crafting fine furniture in the Danish Modern style we decided to move into the creative and exciting world of upcycling….Instead of using new materials, we now source entirely salvaged items for our furniture…Sometimes we work with the original piece and focus of a pure cosmetic makeover and sometimes we totally deconstruct a piece and create something altogether new…Every time we set to work we know that we are saving another item from ending up in land fill, which is immensely satisfying…
How do you get the graphics onto a piece of furniture?
We have spent a considerable amount of time perfecting our technique and are confident in saying that we are the only people in the world producing this sort of upcycled furniture…All of our graphics are encapsulated in several layers of various trade only products, in a formula of our own creation, and the end result is each piece looking like it is under a layer of glass….The finish is heat and scratch resistant….
Our paint is a two part polyurethane, sometimes finished to a high gloss and other times left in a soft matte finish…Any timber elements are bespoke and crafted using salvaged timbers….

We can ship any piece anywhere in Australia... We have a very trusted team of carriers who will ensure that your piece arrives to your door in perfect condition...And we also offer an online escrow service...This third party holds your funds in safe keeping until your piece arrives....When you are happy with your item, you release the funds to us....This takes the risks of online buying away completely....
