This is a handmade one of a kind pair of studs made in Melbourne, Australia.
The studs materials are old interior design samples which were destined for the bin. Inspired by the tiny squares in the samples i began cutting sections out. This lead to a series of octagonal shaped pendants...then earrings...then larger statement necklaces...then well...who knows!!!
The top section is hand cut using a scalpel, a hole is drilled through the cork backing so a sterling silver stud post can be threaded through. The top section is then glued to the cork base.
The pendant measures:
Height/width: 9mm
Depth (excluding post): 4mm
Post length: 8mm
