This piece focuses on one of my favourite elements in design. It is something I like to use a lot of in my work & I have now come to call it 'The Chandelier Effect'. I love the idea of drops of crystal beads hanging from any piece of jewellery. The hues of Hyacinth, Light Emerals, Ruby & Sapphire are bright, beautiful and liven up a simple attire.

Here I have made this 'effect' a focus in my design, giving it a border of gold scallops which is strung on a strand of Amethyst chips.

The length of this necklace is 15 inches

The focal piece on its own is 3 inches in width & drops down to 2.75 inches

A gold toggle clasp attaches at the back & adds 0.75 inches to the length of the necklace
