With soap making comes a lot of little soap scraps. These bits are perfectly good, natural soap. They are the bits that have been shaved off the edges or sliced off ends of the bars. These wee left over peices of soap are wonderful for making soap balls, rebatched soap. It makes extremely good home made laundry powder or laundry liquid. Lots or recipes for luandry powders on the web, but most say use store bought soap flakes, which to me defeats the purpose of making a natually home made product.
I have taken these little peices of soap one step further to make them even eaiser for you to use. I have grated or chopped them into extremly small, easily melted beads or shavings. Each bag soap shavings comes with easy instructions on how to to make laundry powder. It is perectly safe to use in washing machines and I have used my home made soap powder in both a front loader and top loader with great success.
I have only included soaps that DO NOT contain any milk, honey or beeswax, so they are vegan friendy.
