This delicate beanie has been hand knit using a blend of 70% Australian Merino wool and 30% nylon..............and it is soooooo soft!

I have adapted a pattern from my mothers old knitting books, it has a ribbed brim, a two tone body using a fun stitch combination and a little stem at the top! It is a shade I would call caramel with apple constrast, great for little boys!

The circumference measures 32cm unstretched, but please remember that rib knitting has a fair amount of stretch to it...if possible I recommend measuring the babies head as babies come in different sizes :-)

Although the wool band states you can wash in a machine on a wool cycle I have to recommend a hand wash, drying flat in the shade.
