This little sweetie wants to makes its home with you on your coat! Its a very unique whimsical owl paper brooch made using my own artwork! What a cute yellow owl with little love hearts on it! It measures approximately 2 inches long (5cm) by 1.5 inches wide (3.5cm).

Each brooch is handcrafted by me using the following method:

1) I print the image from my original watercolour painting onto archival quality 300gsm Hahnemeuhle fine art paper, which has such rich and vibrant colours.
2) It is then handcut by me and glued onto 300 gsm artists quality watercolour paper, then recut.
3) Process two is repeated so that the paper brooch is very sturdy.
4) I then glue a lovely patterned paper onto the back of the brooch.
5) The whole brooch is covered in a clear varnish to protect it and make it nice and shiny. I also add some sparkle to the front of the brooch!
6) I then securely attach a gold or silver plated brooch backing pin to it.
7) Your brooch is then attached to its very own decorative card!

Please note that although the paper brooch is sealed with a varnish, it is only water resistant, not waterproof so please be careful not to wear in heavy downpours or accidentally pop into the washing machine!
