Invite the fairy folk into your house and garden with this magical Fairy Door! This door has been created for Fairies, Pixies, Gnomes and Elves; all of which love to visit, play and tickle the imagination of those who are kind enough to believe in them.
The Fey Folk have been known to exchange little notes, trinkets and drawings outside these doors and even the tooth fairy has been known to use them, making them an ideal gift for little children as they are encouraged to use their imagination.
Mount your magical door inside your home along a skirting board, up on a bookshelf or anywhere around your garden... really any place you think wee folk would love to visit.
This door has been lovingly carved out of knotty pine wood, coloured with a Merbau stain frame and natural pine door. The hinges are hand cut aluminium and styled to suit and the door is finished with a filigree diamond shape and a decorative door handle. The entire piece is given a generous coating of satin lacquer allowing it to be placed inside or outside the home and has a keyhole hanger on the back for mounting. (Some weathering may occur when placed outside, but this will only add to the rustic feel of the piece.)
This door is meant to inspire the imagination of children and adults alike, but be aware this is a decorative piece only and not a toy. Not reccommended to be placed in reach of children under 3 years of age (contains small parts that if dislodged could be a choking hazard).
This door does not open; it is magical and can ONLY be opened by magical Fey Folk!
