I handknit this beanie using Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino....a high quality yarn comprising of a mix of merino wool, microfibre and cashmere. The shades used are a tomato red and bright blue.  

It has a seam going from the crown to centre back, and I have stitched the band into the 'up' position because when my son was younger he always had the fold up pulled over his eyes :-)....this way that can't happen and you will always see a beautiful pair of eyes! 

The last picture shows the beanie in a second colour, and I currently have a more feminine version on the needles.

The beanie will come wrapped in tissue paper, with washing instructions and a spare length of the main colour yarn (to take shopping for colour matching purposes....or for when your older child decides to try the beanie on the cat!)
