This soft yellow bonnet was handknit using Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino....a high quality yarn comprising of a mix of merino wool, microfibre and cashmere.   

This is probably the simplest of the bonnets I have designed recently. The only adornment is the stitch detailing near the face....a stitch commonly known as 'butterfly'. If you wanted it for a little boy, you could call it a bowtie :-) The bonnet fastens using a knit strap under the chin that buttons to one side. I have used a vintage button, it fits the period feeling.

If you would like one made in a different colour, please note that the button used is a one off specifically chosen to compliment the yellow. Any different colour bonnets would receive a different but equally pretty vintage button.

The bonnet will come wrapped in tissue paper, with washing instructions and a spare length of the main colour yarn (to take shopping for colour matching purposes....or for when your older child decides to try the hat on the cat!)
