I handknit this pretty bonnet using Debbie Bliss Rialto a 100% Merino wool.  

The bonnet fastens using a knit strap under the chin that buttons to one side. I have used a vintage button, it fits the period feeling.

I am happy to make this bonnet in your choice of colours, I may not be able to match the button exactly but the button I have used is a baby clothes classic, so the button wouldn't differ to dramatically.

The bonnet will come wrapped in tissue paper, with washing instructions and a spare length of the main colour yarn (to take shopping for colour matching purposes....or for when your older child decides to try the hat on the cat!)
