Kiln fired dichroic glass pendants
I hand make each pendant in my studio in West Wyalong, NSW. The pendants are made by cutting & fusing together layers of amazing dichroic glass in a kiln by heating to approx. 800º Celsius. A silver plated bail is then attached to the pendants and they are strung on a 45cm black cord necklace. The pendants are packaged in a lovely silver organza gift bag.
Pendant measures 2 x 3 cm, excluding the bail.
It is difficult to photograph the true beauty of dichroic glass, they are opal like in appearance. Different colours are seen depending on the angle of view.
