Kiln fired dichroic glass earrings
I hand make all earrings in my studio in West Wyalong, NSW. The earrings are made by cutting & fusing together layers of amazing dichroic glass in a kiln by heating to approx. 800º Celsius. Silver plated hooks are then attached to the earrings. The earrings are packaged in a lovely silver organza gift bag.
Earrings measure 1.5 cm square, excluding the hooks.
It is difficult to photograph the true beauty of dichroic glass, they are opal like in appearance. Different colours are seen depending on the angle of view.
