Faceted tubes of the gemstone Carnelian are alternated with clusters of Red Aventurine grape beads to create this lovely necklace. The Carnelian, faceted to catch the light, has not only its lovely rich colour, but also some lovely natural patterns within the stone, with white stripes and other pale markings clearly seen. The 'grape' shaped beads of the Red Aventurine really add some extra texture and interest to the necklace, while the colour of the Red Aventurine blends beautifully with the Carnelian. The rich colouring of the necklace is continued with the copper wire on which all the beads are set. With each link wire wrapped there is no danger of the necklace, which is fastened with a simple hook clasp, coming apart. With its rich tones this necklace is perfect for Autumn/Fall.
