Charlie Boy has just started school. He loves trains and soccer. He spends his weekends drinking lemonade and playing with on the porch of his family home. He likes it when his parents read him a bed time story at night.
This portrait of Charlie Boy is made using embroidery, on a dusty pink vintage fabric from a 30's sofa I've salvaged (but that's another story...). The embroidery hoop is 24cm in diameter.
There's a light green background to his portrait, which lifts the image out from the fabric, made using aerosol paint & a stencil.
