Gorgeous and distinctive red lace top hand panted with gold dust.

I got this lace at a going out of business sale and hand painted it with gold dust mixed with textile medium. I then washed the top to check for colour fastness and handle. The result is rather pleasing, taking a lovely lace top and making it into something special.

Lace is bright red cotton and acrylic. Medium weight with some stretch, but still holds it shape nicely.

Design has french darts so it fits at the bust, but flares out gently to give a lovely fitted but not super tight look. Very flattering to most figures. The hem is scalloped and the scoop neckline is cut in line with the floral lace design and so the neckline is unique for each top and very pretty against bare skin or any contrast. Top is sleeveless and looks great as part of a suit for work or under a jacket or paired with jeans for a night out.

Hand wash in warm water.
