This multi-purpose blanket can be use for many years to come - as a blanket, a swaddle wrap, or as a towel.
Made from hemp and organic cotton jersey, it is gorgeously warm and cuddly to touch, despite being lightweight. It is also stretchy in both directions. It has a beautiful earthy off-white color. I bound the edges with renowned Liberty of London 100% cotton lawn fabric, for those pretty colors and luxury look.
Measuring at approximately 35" x 29" (90cm x 75cm), it is a generous size as a baby blanket or a swaddle wrap. As a blanket, it is great for summer. As a newborn wrap, it is suitable for all year round.
I love using this blanket as a bath towel for my children in summer. It is very absorbent and feels wonderful on your skin. Unlike traditional bath towels, this one remains soft after many washes, and is a breeze to wash because it takes so little space in the washing machine.
Hemp is naturally anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. Organic cotton is chemical free, and is gentle on your baby as well as to the earth.
Care - machine wash and line dry or throw in the dryer.
Everything I make for my shop is handmade by me from start to finish. The item comes with a little tag that says "Piggledee - handmade in Australia."
