ABOUT THIS ARTWORK:

This beautiful fine-china, hand-painted cup and saucer set is a one-of-a-kind functional artwork, called 'Amazing Day'.

It's inspired by the regular days when you can fully appreciate all the wonderful moments, people and things in life.

It is lovingly hand-painted by me using specialty porcelain paints, which are heat treated to make them completely usable and durable.(They are both dishwasher safe but I'd personally recommend hand-washing it, as it is a lovely little art piece and deserves to be lovingly treated)

The original tea set was a beautiful antique crisp white fine-china set of Japanese origin, with lovely pine tree features on the surface of the saucer. The hand-painted details I've added include fine linework to resemble fluffy, whimsical clouds, sun rays and embellished leaf shoots, along with other lovely techniques, layered on top and interwoven into the design.

Fill this beauty with your favourite tea ... or pop it on a shelf as a feature artwork and conversation piece when friends come to visit. The saucer measures approx 19 cms in diameter at the widest point and the tea cup proudly at around 7 cms tall.

Carefully packaged in bubble wrap and posted within Australia using Australia Post.
