A friend gave me a box his grandmothers vintage embroidered doilies.  I absolutely love them but unfortunately there aren't many people who use doilies anymore; I wanted to preserve the gorgeous stitching and make it precious so I have made them into cute little brooches by pressing them onto a self-covering button with a brooch pin attached.  Each one is a completly unique.

Approx measurements: 5cm diameter
