Breastfeeding Necklace

Breastfeeding Necklace:

As you baby feeds and spends time your arms they love to explore, and feel new textures. This necklace is designed for mamas. A natural birch wood ring which has been sanded and finished with beeswax and organic olive oil and a brown leather cord with a sliding knot and wooden and a semi precious bead has been added for their little fingers to explore. It is also perfect for baby wearing!!

The wooden ring is perfect for babies who may use it as a teether. The semi-precious stone and beads are strung onto the hand-knotted cord in such a way that it is secured to the ring itself, not knotted on individually, which means that they cannot come off unless the cord is completely untied.

To keep any wooden necklace looking its best a reapplication of oil is occasionally recommended and I suggest flaxseed, hemp or if no allergy concern sweet almond oil.

The birch wood ring is 2.75 inches and the cord is 32cm when worn long, feel free to ask if you would prefer a shorter or longer cord. It is tied with sliding knots so it can be shortened. The wooden beads are untreated. The crochet beads are made of 100%cotton and wood.

Due to the nature of the natural wood used, there may be some slight imperfections in the ring and beads.

This was designed with breastfeeding mums and bubs in mind, however this is not a toy and the child should not be left unattended with necklace.
