Made of Australian leather.  These classic moss green leather shoes with a large white crochet snowflake / doily over the top of the foot, hazelnut leather around the back of the foot topped with winter white leather on the ankle are great to co-ordinate with any outfit, they would look super cute with a dress, skirt or jeans.  

They are suitable for a girl or boy.  

The elastic means that they are comfortable and stay on.

To measure your baby's foot have them stand on a piece of paper on their full weight as this will ensure baby's feet are spread out. Ensure the toes aren't scrunched up and mark the longest parts of the foot from the big toe to the back of the heel. Make sure you measure both as feet as one foot is usually slightly bigger than the other.

A good sized shoe is  longer than the babies foot for movement, this is most important when the child is walking so extra length in a baby shoe is fine even desirable if being worn over a wondersuitand.

If you are looking for a pair to put away for later keep in mind their feet grow about 1cm every 3 months.

If you see a style or colour you like in the active or sold tabs but it's not in your childs size, I can custom make a pair to your measurements (I've already made a few a bit wider for some gorgeous chubby feet).

The higher price reflects the extra time needed to make them as each snowflake is glued on (left to dry for 24 hours) and then hand sewn to ensure that it stays on and my husband feels that I should value my time at more than $5 per hour after fees and material costs so in the interest of family harmony up the price goes - it lovely to know he values my work too.
