This is a beautiful hard cover hand bound journal.

I use natural Irish linen thread that I hand wax, then sew the book using the traditional method
This spine has lovely raised cords, if you would prefer a smooth spine, I can do that too!

I use smooth cream Mohawk 118gsm paper. For those of you who use fountain pens, this is an absolute treat! The pen GLIDES along this paper!! It’s so luscious!!!

There are 120 pages (240 back and front)

The size of this journal is 22cm high x 15.5cm wide x 3cm thick
(inches 8.6" x 6" x 1")

The leather is kangaroo, made is Australia. The leather is as close to natural as possible, which means it isn’t sealed, and will continue to age and develop character!!

The Copper Metal Wax seal!!  -----Oh wow do I love this!!-----

I hand make this using a traditional wax seal stamp. Then imbed the metal into the cover so its nestled in safely.

The copper will oxidise as its exposed to the environment and will develop a wonderfully natural patina!!
If you would like your copper sealed so that it retains its beautiful copper colour and stays shiny and new, I can do this for an additional cost - email me and I can set up a custom listing for you!

There are TWO fonts to choose from and I have EVERY letter in the alphabet!!!
