Now this frame isn't made from wood as I can tell,not really sure what it's made of, but it has come up a treat in this lovely shabby blue colour. After painting and sanding back, a light non-toxic sealer was then applied to finish off. These chalkboards are perfect for the kitchen, office, hallway, anywhere where you need to leave a message or jot down a reminder. I've got a large chalkboard in the kitchen, and even in these digital times I'm forever adding little notes, shopping items, reminders and ideas to my board.

Remember, this is a recycled item and not new, so there are little imperfections to be found but they all add to the shabby chic character of the piece.
