There is nothing like a simple beautiful cotton Kinchaku (Japanese pouch), which is humble but gorgeous and so versatile.

You can use it every day to carry your essentials like wallet and phone, or you can use it as a cosmetic bag, or show it off on a special occasion. Accessorise it, change drawstrings, make it your own! And it is reversible!

COLORS

Red floral print with gold print accents and navy blue, traditional bird patter on the other side, with thin purple drawcord.

Outer fabric is "chirimen" fabric, which has a slight texture and very slight sheen. It is special and beautiful. Lining fabric is 100% cotton.

Kinchaku is a traditional Japanese pouch that has been used for hundreds of years. Men and women have been using it to carry money and other small personal items, and it is also separately used to carry lunch boxes.

Nowadays there are many different designs made with different fabrics. Mine are mainly made with cotton fabric, and hand-made. Some are one of a kind. Good for carrying around money, phone and lipstick, or as a cosmetic bag at home or small-item holder in your big bag.

They are versatile, reversible (unless otherwise noted), and washable – take care, color may fade!
