14k Gold fill wire has been used to create these beautiful tear drop shaped earrings. Gorgeous lavender/purple coloured Tanzanite gemstones have then been wire wrapped into the tear drops with more gold fill wire. A tanzanite coloured Swarovski crystal is wirewrapped onto the top of the tear drop to complete the look and to add a little bit of sparkle. The earrings are then suspended on hand forged gold fill ear wires. These are lovely earrings that you will want to wear again and again.

Tanzanite is a rare gemstone found only in the African state of Tanzania.

14/20 gold fill wire consits of 1/20th or 5% 14 karat gold bonded onto a brass core. The layer of gold is considerably thicker than with gold plated wire and so will not wear away.
