These are a new design and rather cute!

These are reasonably large stud type earrings handmade from fine silver and the backs are sterling silver complete with a butterfly clasp to secure them.

About the fine silver pieces I make….. 

 Each silver piece I make goes though an extensive process.  Firstly I make a mould from silicone putty and use this as a template for the piece.  The silver is then cast into the mould and once set, I then file and smooth the piece and attach the sterling stud which is fired in place for strength.

 Next is the firing part which takes about 3 hours in a kiln.  Once this stage is complete, the silver is then wire-woolled and then tumbled in a rotary tumbler (like they use for rocks!) for about 2 hours to give it enhanced strenth and shine and then finally given a final hand polish. This whole process can take 3 days and each piece is painstakingly made but the end result is a totally handmade, original design.

The item you will receive is the one pictured – it is made and ready to be posted which I will do within 24 hours of payment (excluding weekends and public holidays) unless otherwise stated.
