This is a really striking piece in gorgeous colours.

Each flowers is handmade in bronze and then given a really beautiful turquoise patina in numerous layers and then sanded back in areas to show the bronze detail beneath... Each flower is tied on with sterling head pins and addditional beads.
The flowers measure roughly 1.5 cm acrossand the longest in the middle hangs about 2.5cm down.

Each bronze piece I make goes though an extensive process. Firstly I make a mould from clay and use this as a template for the bronze piece. The bronze is then cast into the mould and once set, I then file, smooth and drill the piece. Next is the firing part which takes about 5 hours in a kiln. Once this stage is complete, the bronze is then wire-woolled, burnished and then given a patina to bring out the detail. Finally the piece is polished up and ready to use. This whole process can take 3 days and each piece is painstakingly made but the end result is a totally handmade, original design

Please note all parts listed as sterling are GENUINE sterling silver - there is a lot of sterling in this piece and the price of silver is going up rapidly - this piece is a good investment as well as being a beautiful piece! I randomly test the silver myself and only buy parts from reputable suppliers.
All of my pieces, simple or intricate, are well-made with much love and I neatly wrap, trim and pinch ends to make sure there are no 'scratchy' bits!
