To make a purchase on madeit
You will need to be logged into your madeit account before you can make a purchase on madeit. www.madeit.com.au/login
After locating an item you wish to purchase select the "add to cart" button and the bottom of the listing.
If the item has multiple quantities available you will need to specify the number of this particular item you wish to buy.
After selecting "add to cart" your shopping cart will be displayed.
In the shopping cart you will see details on all items you have currently added to the cart including the latest item and any previous items that have not yet been confirmed.
You can load your shopping cart up with products from many different sellers, the items from the same seller will automatically be grouped together providing you with a total amount for each different seller.
In the shopping cart you can alter the quantity of an item by changing the value in the QTY field for that item and selecting the "update QTY" link for that item.
You can add a particular item to your favourites by selecting "Add to favourites".
You can also remove an individual item by selecting the "Remove" link.
You can empty your shopping cart by selecting the "Clear All" button.
You can also continue shopping and add more items to your cart by selecting the "Continue Shopping".
Your shopping cart is saved so that you can log out and come back to it later. You need to log in to access your shopping cart.
Please note that until you select the Confirm purchases button in your shopping cart any items you have in your cart can be sold to someone else. The items are NOT yours until you select "confirm purchases".
To actually purchase the items in your shopping cart select a payment option for each different seller eg PayPal or Direct Deposit. Each seller can choose which payment options they accept.
Enter a comment to the seller if required and select the "Confirm Purchases" button.
When you select "Confirm Purchases" you confirm the purchase of ALL items in your shopping cart.
By clicking Confirm Purchases you are making a commitment to the seller to pay for the item (within 3 days).
To pay for my purchases:
After clicking Confirm Purchases you will be directed to the checkout page where you can make payment for each order.
You agree to pay for the items within 3 days of selecting the "Confirm Purchases" button.
If you need to access the checkout facility for an item you haven't yet paid for you can do so through "My Account" under "Invoices" select "Purchases" and select the checkout button.
On the checkout page you will see the details of all your current orders that require payment.
You make payment to each individual seller separately.
If you not paying via PayPal you will need to select the "Request Payment Details" or "Request bank details" buttons to email the seller to request payment instructions.
If you chose to pay via PayPal select the "Pay with PayPal button" which will direct you to PayPal where you make payment to the seller for this purchase. Upon return from PayPal you will see this order appear as PAID.
Paid orders remain displayed in your checkout area for 24hrs after payment.
Where can I see a list of things that I have purchased and their invoices?
If you select My Account and from the left hand menu Purchases you can see a summary of items you have purchased. from here you can easily contact the seller if you need to by clicking on the envelope next to the sellers name
if you select the view/print button you can view the invoice for that item
How do I ask the seller a question?
Ask The Seller - At the bottom of every listing there is a "Comments" section where you can ask the Seller a question, or view previous questions from other users.
When submitting a question to a Seller, the message gets sent directly to their email address on file. The Seller can respond by following the link in the email.
To ask the Seller a question:
1. Log into your account.
2. Go to the Item listing.
3. Scroll down to the section marked "Comments."
4. Click the text "Ask the seller a question." This will take you to a Contact User form.
5. Enter your message.
6. Click "Send" button.
How do i leave feedback?
In my account select the Leave Feedback link under Feedback.
You will be presented with a list of items you currently need to leave feedback for.
You can leave the same feedback for multiple items by selecting the checkbox of the relevant items you want to leave the same feedback for.
Rate the transaction as Positive, Negative or Neutral, provide your comment and select the "leave this feedback for selected Users" button
