Do I have to regsiter if I'm a buyer?
Whether you are a Buyer or Seller you'll have to be a registered user on madeit.

What are the steps to registering?
All you need to do is fill out a simple two step form (user info & billing info) and verify your account.

Can you explain the user information and whether you'll pass my details onto anyone else?
User Information is the personal data you must supply to register for an account, madeit will not pass your personal details on any third party. For more information on the security of your personal info please see our Privacy Policy.

Is the username I choose important?
Yes, you should choose a unique username for your account with no spaces (myshop rather than my shop). If you're a seller or wanting to become a seller then we recommend that your username is your store name or a shorter version of your store name.
A username is not only for gaining access to the website, but it is how you will be recognized by other Buyers and Sellers. Your username will appear on your listings.

What if my username is aready taken or I miss infomation?
If any required fields are left incomplete or the username is already in use, you will be notified when submitting the registration information. This will require you to go back and adjust your information. 

Do I need a valid email address to register on madeit?
Yes, you'll be required to enter a valid email address. Just like your username, your email address will be unique to your account and can not be used for any other account. This email address will be used to verify your account.

What info do you require for registration?
Full name, Address, City, State, Post Code, Country, Phone Number

What is the optional info for registration?
Company, Work Phone Number

Is there any tips on creating a password?
Madeit recommends you select a strong password to use when you log into your account. Your password will be case-sensitive, and the best passwords contain numbers, uppercase, and lowercase letters.

Will I be asked to confirm my password?
Yes, you will be required to Confirm your password. By entering your password twice, you confirm that you have typed it correctly.
When your User Information is complete, click "Continue" to proceed to Billing Information.

Do I have to enter my billing information?
Yes, you will be required to enter your billing infomation, these fields are automatically filled using the address information you provided for your User Information. If your Billing Address is different from your Home or Company Address, please adjust the information accordingly.

Do I need to enter my credit card information?
Only sellers will be required to enter their credit card information.

Do I need to verify my account?
Yes, the final step is Account Verification. To finalise your registration, you will need the Verification Code that will be sent to the email address that you used for registration. Just enter your email address, your Verification Code, and your password to verify and log into your new account.
