Description

  • Cotton 75% and silk 25% scarf hand eco printed with eucalyptus leaves.
  • This scarf has soft and delicate pinks and shows the lovely shape of the eucalyptus leaves.
  • An exquisite scarf measuring 180cm x 45cm.
The printing process I used involved wrapping the leaves around the fabric, tying tightly and boiling for many hours. I used a piece of salvaged metal in the boil, which also gave colour and interest. I don't use any chemical or powdered mordants in my products. The scarves are colourfast and can be washed by hand with a pure soap. My makers initial is stamped on each scarf.
