Faceted Abalone Doublet in copper weave with chain

A doublet is when a stone, or shell in this case has an overlay, i.e. there is a double layer. This has been overlaid with faceted quartz which gives depth and highlights the amazing colours in this beautiful abalone. Wrapped in a woven copper frame with a wave curl at the front to depict it's oceanic origins. Abalone may remind you of the many facets of you, strong, gentle, courageous, nurturing.

This item is a one off handcrafted piece hand wrapped using wire manipulation with no glue or solder involved in the process. It has been wrapped according to its attributes; every creation is unique and made with much care and love.  All copper items have been antiqued and polished for a patina look using use solid copper.

 Purchase includes an 18 inch antiqued and polished solid copper 2.4mm ball chain, care instructions, stone meaning, polishing pad and packaging. Please contact me for instructions on how to use the polishing pad correctly. Please see photos for size.
