Lapis Lazuli and Larimar heart pendant in copper with chain

Lapis Lazuli is an ancient stone and most famously used as the pigment ultramarine. This was the base for Cleopatra's famous alluring eye shadow. It was also used by Michelangelo in the Sistene Chapel. A highly regarded stone in the middle ages used as protection on breastplates, as jewellery and other adornments. I have paired it with a sweet Larimar heart pronged accent, all wrapped up in beautiful warm copper.

This item is a one off handcrafted piece hand wrapped using wire manipulation with no glue or solder involved in the process. It has been wrapped according to its attributes; every creation is unique and made with much care and love.  All copper items have been antiqued and polished for a patina look using use solid copper.
