Resin made Tens Frame
Tens frames help kids play with numbers, make connections between them and develop a strong understanding of them.
The way in which a tens frame is displayed (2 rows of 5) allows children to have a clear picture of what numbers up to 10 look like. When they have a mental image of a number and how it relates to the number 10, it helps them to build on mathematical principles like adding and subtracting.
The tens frame can also be used for pattern sequencing and predictions.
