Hi, my name is Monique and I am the founder of LilyKayadesigns.
I was given my first sewing machine at the age of 15 and have loved sewing every since. I have made my own clothes for many years and spent 10 years teaching high school children Textiles and design.
I am currently looking after my two beautiful children full time and have enjoyed making garments for them both. After recieving many compliments about my daughters clothes, I decided to start my own business. I started my business by selling to my friends and the demand has been so high that I have decided to sell to the public through made it and by attending markets.
I have enjoyed seeing the excitement on children's faces when they see the colourful and bright materials I use in my garments. I try to use 100% cotton as much as possible.

All garments are designed and handmade by myself in Canberra, Australia.
