As a child, do you remember running to the letterbox on you Birthday, knowing that it would be full of cards just for you? Did it make you feel special? In the digital age, so many sentiments are now being expressed via email, text messages and social media sites. While still well meaning and sincere, I believe that the handwritten card remains essential in our modern world. The joy you feel when reading someone’s heartfelt message in their own writing is simply priceless.

Every card lover knows that a card is so much more than a card. A handwritten card from someone special evokes the deepest of emotions. It makes you feel loved, valued and cherished. A beautiful card from a special person can never be parted with; it becomes a keepsake, often passed down through the generations.

For all these very reasons, I love to create beautiful and unique fabric greeting cards. I am always amazed at all the wonderful designs, patterns and colours available and the endless possibilities fabric creates. I am meticulous with my fabric selection. A fabric must “speak to me” before I select it. A beautiful fabric transforms a greeting card into something so unique and worthy of being a keepsake. I am a self-confessed fabric addict!!!!
