Hi and welcome to Dreaming Possum, my tiny piece of this amazing Australian crafting community on madeit.
My name is Carolynne and I have always been a creative spirit in one form or another. I am Mum to a young daughter who constantly challenges and inspires me in equal measures, she is my "Dreaming Possum" in my store name.
I love history and am influenced by times gone by, current times and even times that "might" have been or are yet to be!
My style varies depending upon which passion is insisting upon being realised...I adore the simplicity of classic styles such as those worn by Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly but am also equally excited about whimsical, fantastical designs (after all my daughter lives in a world of mermaids, fairies, princesses and the like).
Please remember that all of my items are hand-crafted by me not mass produced or made on a production line so there will be variations or small irregularities from time to time. These are not faults but proof that the item is made by hand and I think that they add to the uniqueness and beauty of the item. Each piece is individual, there may be similarities but no two will be exactly the same due to the availability of supplies and as I try to keep each piece unique.
My items are all crafted with care so please take care of them too, please don't wear jewellery in the shower or swimming and please be aware that some perfumes and body lotions may damage the finish of some items.
