WELCOME TO SANDPIT KIDS!!
My name is Lisl Lavars. I have two beautiful children, 5yr old Alexis and 2yr old Harrison. Until recently, I worked in the fashion industry and was appalled at the amount of fabric which was being thrown away as useless. I began using this fabric to make dresses for Alexis. After much positive feedback and requests for more, Sandpit Kids was started, offering unique, one-off outfits for children, all handmade and designed by myself. I now also make one of a kind quilts and pictures, hair clips, hair clip holders and hand puppets.
Items are available off the rack and made to order, but I particularly like to encourage other people to explore their own creativity, and have fun designing their own dresses, quilts and pictures using the fabric remnants I acquire.
Sandpit Kids can be purchased via www.madeit.com.au, at the Shirt & Skirt Market at the Abbotsford Convent, 1 St Heliers Street, Abbotsford, Melbourne, Australia (Melway ref: 44G5), 3rd Sunday of the month (Sept-May), directly from myself or by hosting or attending a Sandpit Kids Party.
