My profile: Some years ago, a small business, run from home in Ocean Grove on the Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria, was created. A tradition of fine applique, embroidery and knitting and crocheting, passed on by my mother and generations before, has been used to create a range of uniquely handcrafted babywear. The range grows as new and exciting pieces are created.
So today, after enjoying many years of mothering my 5 sons, I delight in having fun-filled times with family and grandchildren and have been steadily building up my small business, with setting up my own website and attending local markets held at Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff, bringing to our modern society, the art of traditional hand-embroidered, hand-appliqued and hand-knitted/or crocheted pieces, perfect for the treasured newborn baby!
