Welcome to august&june. All items in my store are lovingly handmade by me, Rowena McBurnie. I am a stay-at-home mum to 2 wonderful children (Max and Izzy) and wife to Mark (who works away from home 6 months of the year). I studied Textiles & Design at school and have always had a love of fabrics, textures, colour and creating beautiful things. I started sewing again for family and friends in 2010 and after a successful day at a local market decided to start up a FB page.
I use quality designer cotton fabrics in wonderful, fresh prints sourced from around the globe.
