Everything is done by hand so each piece is unique, no 2 are exactly the same.
I have painted for a number of years as well as until recently being a neonatal intensive care nurse. In the 1990's we lived for a number of years in the Netherlands where I had a full time business painting on porcelain.
On glaze paints only are used, firstly I do an outline with a fine pen and nib and fire, then each piece requires a number of firings in a kiln at 820C to achieve the depth of colours.
