Alphabet Monkey designs and creates unique, boutique bed linen for little guys from our little shack in a beautiful coastal village on the east coast of Australia.
We are focused on creating high quality quilts, ( not to be mistaken for look alike blankets) in fun and modern designs for mums of little boys as well as offering many unisex designs. All applique quilts require many hours of work from designing, cutting and hand stitching the applique before the assembly and quilting can begin. You can be sure you have purchased something special for your precious one.
Despite coming to sewing later in life , inspired by the impending birth of my son , I actually come from a family of sewers. Mum is an award winning art quilter who helps out with the work of alphabet monkey and I actually sew on a 'borrowed' machine from my nan who is losing her sight and can no longer sew herself. It makes her happy to see it go to good use. I have always been an artistic type looking for my own little niche. I have worked as a visual artist, owned a gallery, worked in interior design, as a color consultant and currently part time as a visual merchandiser/ stylist to a large interior and homewards retailer.
I really enjoy designing and making quilts and I love that the Internet has made it possible for me to bring my products straight to you....and most of all i love to hear your feedback.
