It all started with a gift…
I’ve always been drawn to creativity and arts since I was a young girl, so it’s no surprise I ended up majoring in advertising and working as a graphic designer.
Growing up I had a big family, by the time I was 15, I had 2 nieces and 3 nephews. At present the count stands at a total of 9, and that’s not including my husband’s side of the family.
I always struggled with gifts, always the same old pastel colours with the little sheep and the pretty clouds… and all I wanted was something cool, different, something that made them stand out from the crowd.
So you see… now it’s my generation’s turn for baby making, and when my friends, the photographers, musicians and designers, started adding their own little artist’s versions of themselves to the world, a simple pastel onesie with a rainbow just won’t do.
So it was my goal to make my own designs. If you can’t find it, make it. So for all of you who feel just like this, I thought it would be selfish of me not to share it with you… what about all the other future rockstars of the world? That’s how Smartpepper was born.
