Hi My name is Julie, I live on the Northern Beaches in Sydney, I have two girls aged 3 and 5. I have been thinking about returning to part time work but have decided that until my little one starts school, it is just to hard to find something that fits in with my limited work hours and days.
I have always loved creating, designing, sewing and coming up with interesting crafty things to make. I love fabric and buttons especially. So I am going to give it a go, making things from home for the next few years and see where it takes me. I like the idea of still being able to make and sell things (online) without having to spend time at markets, which is not really possible for me at the moment.
Since deciding on this venture in the middle of the year, I have come up with some great things that I am really happy with and have also enjoyed searching for beautiful and different bits and pieces, to make my items with.
