Hi there, my name isn't Ead, its Kylie!
Ead is an acronym of my graphic design business Evolution Art & Design. 'Ead ~ treasure me softly' was developed as a side hobby to my creative business outlet. Im also a visual artist painting traditional scenes in oils and more contemporary pieces in acrylic, and have enjoyed photography.
I try to be creative in everything I get my hands on, but as a full time mum to 3 busy boys AND a new baby, working part time as a freelance graphic designer from home means creative 'me' time is very limited.
I recently fell into making handmade jewellery from up-cycled vintage buttons, fabrics and jewellery findings purposely for xmas presents for my family and friends. But of course it became very addictive and soon I found myself entering my stall into markets and producing lots of fun jewellery and accessories! I have now taken it up a notch, Ive ventured into producing high quality jewellery using sterling silver hooks, charms, and beautiful gems.
It has taken me a while to finally start putting my pieces on madeit.com.au, but I do hope that my store is enjoyed and that I can make someone out there feel softly treasured.
