I'm not ashamed to admit it..... I am totally addicted to making my stuffed animals and thoroughly enjoy the hours I spend sitting at my sewing machine making the Funky Friends Factory toys!!

I started with my first stuffed animal in August 2011. I was at my local markets one Sunday with my family and happened to stumble by a shop run by the lovely Pauline (creator of Funky Friends Factory patterns). I had been sewing a few homemade things like clothes and bags as my children had bought me my first every sewing machine for Mother's Day but as soon as I saw how adorable the photos were on the patterns and after talking to Pauline and seeing her passion for what she does I purchased one...Gertie the Gecko.

WELL..... I was instantly hooked!!! I came back the following week to show off my new creation to Pauline and after the wonderful encouragement she gave me I bought some more!! I now have 50 yes you read that correctly 50 patterns and will no doubt keep buying them LOL.

Needless to say I have now have an obsession with fabric and East Coast Fabrics/Spotlight have become my second home much to my husbands sorrow!!

So, I have decided to share my passion for making good quality handmade toys with others. I hope they bring as much joy to others as they do to me.
