Sally Gross spent most of her career drawing computer-generated art and animation for architects and medical practitioners. Considering her first love is children's literature and drawing cute furry animals, this was a slight problem.
So in 2011, she swapped her computer mouse for a tin of pencils and Little Skipper emerged.
Little Skipper produces gorgeous fairytale-like illustrations designed for the young and the young at heart. They are hand-drawn in Melbourne and sold as originals as well as beautifully reproduced on archival quality paper as limited edition prints. The highly detailed drawings depict children, animals and toys exploring magical worlds and making wondrous new friends.
The new range also includes 'artwear' - handmade timber pendants and recycled steel lockets featuring Little Skipper Artwork ready to wear.
